1 Introduction

Privacy and confidentiality are important to Cyberjean.com (hereinafter "Cyberjean.com", "we", "us" or "our").

For this reason, Cyberjean.com implements effective controls to protect the confidential nature of personal information in its custody.

If Cyberjean.com becomes involved in a bankruptcy, sale, acquisition, merger, transfer of assets or other reorganization, Cyberjean.com may disclose your personal information to the reorganized entity.



7 Retention and security of personal information

7.1 Detention

The personal information we hold about you is kept in an electronic file, the purpose of which is to enable you to benefit from Cyberjean.com's service offering and complementary services.

7.2 Security

We take and apply the necessary and appropriate physical, IT, software and operational security measures to ensure the confidentiality of personal information in our possession, and to protect it against loss, destruction, theft, as well as unauthorized consultation, communication, reproduction, use and modification. 7.3 Retention period of personal information

We retain your personal information for as long as we have a legitimate need to do so. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will retain your personal information on our systems for the duration of the deletion cycle.

7.4 Place of processing of personal information

We process your Personal Information in Québec, but some of our service providers process your Personal Information outside Québec. As a result, your Personal Information may be processed in a jurisdiction where privacy laws may differ from those in Quebec.



For any transfer of your Personal Information to a jurisdiction other than Quebec, we take all necessary steps to ensure that your Personal Information is treated in accordance with this Policy and applicable privacy laws, such as standard contractual clauses.

These standard contractual clauses or other appropriate or adapted guarantees for this transfer outside Quebec can be obtained on request from the Privacy Officer

In addition, a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) is systematically completed before any personal data is transferred outside Quebec.

8 Right of access, rectification and deletion

We can provide you with the information we hold about you and you have the right to correct that information.



Whenever possible, we ensure that the personal information we hold is up to date before using it to make a decision that affects you. You can make changes to your information yourself via your account settings.

At any time, you can have your name removed from our promotional or marketing email lists by unsubscribing from our email lists or by changing your preferences in your Cyberjean.com account settings.
